Modern breeding tools and power of data-driven techniques – CROPINNO team is getting ready for Training School on Bioinformatics, SNP-Based Markers and their Application in Breeding
We are happy to announce that within the activities in WP1 of CROPPINO, a group of researchers from Institute of Field Vegetable Crops will visit Universität Rostock in the first week of July and take part in Training School on Bioinformatics, SNP-Based Markers and their Application in Breeding.
These innovative technologies are transforming traditional breeding methods by offering precise, efficient, and data-driven approaches for crop improvement. With the ability to decipher genetic variations at the molecular level, bioinformatics and SNP-based markers are providing breeders with valuable tools to enhance the selection and development of superior crop traits.
Training school will be followed by visits to leading breeding companies located in Germany in order to learn more about application of modern breeding tools in commercial breeding programs.
Researchers from IFVCNS are looking forward this unique opportunity to learn from the best.
