Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops (IFVCNS) hosted a collaborative visit from Dr. Laura Junker-Frohn of Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) as part of ongoing CROPINNO activities. The exchange focused on refining approaches to drought stress assessment in sunflower using high-throughput phenotyping technologies.
The teams worked together to revisit previous experimental challenges, align measurement workflows, and explore strategies for improving data quality and trait resolution. This collaboration further strengthened ties between IFVCNS and FZJ, supporting the harmonization of research practices across the CROPINNO network.
