In May 2024, CROPINNO team members participated in the 91st International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, one of the region’s most prominent agri-tech events. The fair brought together a diverse audience of stakeholders, including farmers, crop producers, and industry representatives from Italy.

As part of the seminar “New Technologies in Serbian Agriculture: Opportunities for Cooperation between Italy and Serbia,” organized by the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian Embassy in Belgrade, and FederUnacoma, the CROPINNO team presented a talk titled “Genomics-assisted breeding at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops.”

The event also marked the beginning of a promising collaboration between IFVCNS and researchers from the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics – Research Centre for Genomics in Italy, paving the way for future joint initiatives in plant genomics and breeding innovation.
