Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops (IFVCNS) research administrative staff met with  of Padova (UNIPD) International Research Office employees to learn about the activities carried out within the Office. Separate meetings were held with the Head of the Office, the librarian, Collaborative Grant Team, Individual Grant Team, and the Research Office Team of the Department of Agronomy, Food, Natural resources, Animals and Environment (DAFNAE) of UNIPD. Topics covered included the organization and personnel, procedures and funding opportunities offered by the EC and support provided to researchers.

The event achieved its planned goals completely since IFVCNS staff were fully informed about the activities and European Commission funding opportunities at UNIPD. This administrative staff workshop is directly connected to the project`s Objective 3 regarding strengthening research management capacities and administrative skills, communication and proposal preparation, to maximize the impact of IFVCNS activities and improve success in securing international funding.
